As we look back on 2022, the best way to describe it for Evertrust Developments (headed by Dr. Ted Jiancheng Zhou) would be another successful year of building and growing our vision of happy, healthy lives for everyone in Canada. A big year because we shifted our focus to Bracebridge, Ontario, with Upper Vista Muskoka, a high-end place to live with many amenities in the middle of cottage country.

The “Hamptons Of The North”:

The “Hamptons of the North” is being built in several phases. To locate where the Muskoka River meets Lake Muskoka. It is only 90 minutes from Toronto and will have a variety of well-planned communities to suit everyone’s tastes. It will also have easy access to transportation, entertainment, arts, and cultural activities.

On June 23, 2022, the official groundbreaking ceremony for the 40 sold-out detached homes in Phase 1 of the development. The Evertrust team was there, along with local dignitaries and many residents. The homes will have the highest levels and features, like beautiful interiors and large lots surrounded by nature.

The Community Welcome:

Steve Clement has lived in the area his whole life and is a councillor in Bracebridge. He said the community welcomes Upper Vista Muskoka.

“I’m proud of Bracebridge and am happy with how we’re growing. We’re all for growth and know housing is a big issue now.”

Dr. Ted Jiancheng Zhou, says that the project’s successful launch aligns with his plan to bring growth and lifestyle opportunities to markets that have yet to be touched.

“We work hard to ensure that the neighbourhoods we build have high-quality construction and amenities that will make everyone’s life better.”

Upper Vista Muskoka Phases:

Since the start of construction, Phase 1 sold, out now Phase 2 54 detached homes, and Phase 3, which had 14 semi-detached dwellings, has begun along with condominiums. That will give the new residents an unbeatable quality of life in the cottage country.

Investing In Bracebridge:

One of the best parts of this exciting new project was when he returned to the area a few weeks after the groundbreaking to give money to the busy cast department at the local hospital.

Evertrust’s unique position in the residential real estate market has always meant that we prioritize making the communities we build better for everyone. After talking to local officials, the hospital needed money.

Rick Maloney, Mayor of the Town of Bracebridge, said the community was “overwhelmed” by Dr. Ted Jiancheng Zhou and his family’s generosity. Leah Walker, Executive Director of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, called the donation to the busy cast department “transformative.”

Ultimately, we look back on 2022 and feel very proud of what we did. We have broken new ground in exciting new markets and brought our happy, healthy, high-end, and affordable business model to communities that have welcomed our growth and stand to gain so much.

We’re looking forward to the challenges that 2023 will bring and to another year of being a market leader with our unique way of living.
