Dare to dream, they say, since in daring lies the determination to live beyond your circumstances. Never let anyone tell you that dreams are a waste of time. Because dreams are where we plant the seed of our future. If you follow your dreams and continue to make choices that resonate with your dream, there is no external force that could hamper your success. Apart from the success stories of many great personalities that we get to hear today, one only occasionally comes across a living dreamer who has made it happen, on his own.

Benjamin Gordon of Palm Beach is one of those few successful personalities that have truly made it on their own. Born and raised in Florida, Benjamin enjoyed learning almost everything that he found amusing. He was not just a curious kid who wanted to know everything about the world around him but actually had some brilliant ideas for which he was always appreciated.

Taking this curiosity with him, Benjamin pursued a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard where he gained a lot of recognition for his ideas for building logistics. He joined his family’s transportation business Automotive Management Inc. where he managed transportation businesses and grew its logistics operation base. He further drove technique projects in transportation and innovation at Mercer Management Consulting, creating one of the first e-commercial market strategies for a logistic client.

At this point, he was sure that this is exactly where his true potential lies. His profound interest and passion lead him to start his own company so he founded 3Plex, the Internet solution enabling third-party logistics companies to automate their business. He raised $28 million from blue-chip investors like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BancBoston Ventures, CNF, and Lonian and generated 3PLex feature stories in the New York Times, ABC, Business Week, Journal of Commerce, Lehrer News Hour, and other media.

Apart from being an expert in the supply chain, Benjamin highly believes in charity. According to him, a successful man who does not give back to society just can’t be considered successful in the first place. The definition of success lies in helping others succeed. As founder and chairman of GesherCity, he boosted young adult volunteerism and also served on the Boards of several non-profit groups, including Palm Beach United Way, the Palm Beach Federation, the Palm Beach Young Presidents’ Organization, and various other community organizations.

As CEO of BGSA Holdings, Benjamin has spent his profession investing and assisting with building supply networks and technological organizations. In fact, Benjamin has led the firm’s efforts and advised on over $1 billion worth of supply chain transactions! Currently serving as the founder and Managing Partner of Cambridge Capital, Benjamin Gordon of Palm Beach has truly made it on his own in this highly competitive world. He is continuing to live on as the living proof of how dreams do come true if you just continue to work hard and refuse to give up.
